You should never underestimate the power of how you look regarding how it influences those around you. While people hate to think they judge people on how they look, you have to admit that appearance does play a role in what you think about someone. This applies to loans as well.
Why is this important to your loan dealings?
It is important because you will have to impress the loan officer in order to get the loan. You may not realize it, but the loan officer has a lot of pull in whether you get a loan or not. Whether it’s business, personal or a mortgage you want to impress your lender so they’ll see you as a good candidate.
You need to look good on paper and in person.
Follow these tips and you should be fine:
” Dress to impress. Dress as if you’re going for a job interview.
” Be honest and upfront about your finances and credit history
” Be polite and don’t be nervous. The loan officer wants to give you a loan, they get paid to do that.
” Do a bit of homework so you appear that you have thought the loan process through and appear responsible.
While it may or may not work out in your favor, you have a very good chance of getting a loan when you prepare ahead of time.
